I had the great pleasure of photographing the lovely Alyssa and her fiancé Tim this past Saturday in the beautiful Schoepfle Garden in Birmingham, OH. Because it was a little late in the season, we missed most of the gorgeous flowers that are in bloom throughout spring and early summer, but we still managed to find some great photo spots as we toured the gardens.
I had the wonderful opportunity to snap some pictures of the lovely photographer (no pressure there!) Jadera from Jaded Expressions for an article she was featured in in the Lorain County Pulse Magazine. We met up in a beautiful park in Oberlin, and searched around for some good outdoor photo spots.
I recently had the pleasure of spending some time with Alyssa and Chris for an East Cleveland engagement shoot. I set out to capture them with the three things they enjoy the most: Toda, their photogenic pug, and their two Honda Civic Si’s.
I had the great pleasure of snapping some engagement photos of the beyond fun and adorable couple Katlyn and Ryan this past Saturday in their location of choice: downtown Cleveland. I was more than excited to take them around the city, as we explored and posed, and then explored some more.
While out taking a walk last night, I just couldn't help but notice the incredible sunset behind First Energy Stadium. The orange glow perfectly accented the stadium as it sat lifeless like a resting beast. At first, I was a little upset that construction in the east end zone cluttered and added distraction to the shot. However, the more I thought about it and worked on the final edit, the more I grew to appreciate it being there.
Over this past weekend, I had the opportunity to spend a morning with Sarah and Ben as we took their engagement photos all over downtown Cleveland. We walked all over the city: from East 4th, Public Square, the Convention Center, and a few other random spots in between.
This year, I had a very unique and fortunate opportunity to photograph the 2014 Austin Reggae Fest. Everything about this trip was awesome, and was a lot of "firsts" for me. This was the first time I've ever traveled to Texas, the first time I've ever been asked to photograph an entire festival before—let alone on the other side of the country, and this trip was also the first time I've ever had the chance to shoot with my new full frame camera (the D610).
Welshly Arms, a local indie-rock quartet, recently made a splash in the Cleveland music scene after being featured in ThisisCLE's A Cleveland Anthem video. After listening to their discography more than a few times over, I definitely couldn’t pass up the chance to check them out for just $10 at the Beachland Ballroom last Saturday.
Last weekend I had the opportunity to meet Robin and Jake in Sheffield, Ohio for an outdoor winter engagement shoot. Since we began planning the shoot, Robin had her heart set on getting their pictures taken in the snow, so we just had to make it happen. Despite it being just eleven degrees last Sunday, the snow fall was perfect so we took the opportunity and absolutely made the most of it!
I recently had the opportunity to help my good friend Ben Henceroth make a video for his campaign to be elected the first Governor of Brohio at Progressive Field in Cleveland, Ohio this summer. After much anticipation, Ben was selected as a finalist and awarded the opportunity to campaign at Tribe Fest. This meant that he got to appear on stage in front of hundreds of fans, along with the three other finalists and Nick Swisher himself. In order to prove their worth, the finalists were grilled with questions from Swisher.
